General Job Objective
Cleveland Range, a member of the Manitowoc Foodservice family of companies, is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Sr Accountant, with responsibility for the maintenance and analysis of the general ledger, month end process, and the preparation of financial statements for this $100m operating company. Reporting directly to the Controller, this position is based in Cleveland, OH.
Essential Job Functions
• Reports daily orders, sales, and backlog measurements for the development and management of the current months forecast. • Maintain chart of accounts. • Prepare monthly-consolidated financial statements including the preparation of journal entries. • Evaluate, audit, and control intercompany accounting. • Account Reconciliation’s on a monthly basis. • Develop, maintain, and report Hyperion Enterprise financial statements including the upload and retrieve processes. • Maintain and reconcile fixed assets through Best software. • Prepare internal and external reports and fulfill additional requests as needed. • Prepare weekly cash forecast. • Collect appropriate data and prepares the personal property tax return, year-end tax packet, and sales and use tax schedules. • Maintain and develop quarterly and annual rebates, including forecasting future payments for reconciliation support. • Assist in the development and maintenance of SOX compliance. • Intracompany reconciliations of shipments to receipts. • Assist in monthly close and contribute to streamlining the process to a two day close. • Assist in the development and preparation of the quarterly re-forecasts, budget, and the long-range plan financial models and statements. • Assist in the development and maintenance of key sales reports including various ad hoc reports.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: BA degree with a focus in accounting, strong accounting skills and 5 to 7 years work related experience is required. Solid working knowledge of computerized accounting systems (Hyperion Enterprise and Best- fixed asset software), Excel, and MS Word is necessary.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Strong mathematical skills are required with the ability to report financial statements and models accurately.
REASONING ABILITY: Requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, flexible team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to self-manage and work with minimal supervision. Along with an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
